As stated in the about us section, below is an overview of elements needed to build an HTML creative. Also, I provided information on the step by step process.
First thing you want to do is design the top graphic or header
(sample image click here).
You will see blue lines across the screen on the sample link above and that indicates where we will slice the design into pieces. The viewer will never see that the image is cut into slices. This is a critical step to getting the HTML creative to load faster.
Adobe Photoshop is a great tool to use for the design section. We recommend Adobe Image Ready once you have completed the design phase and are moving on to slice up the creative.
The text section is what's called selectable text. If you have a design and the text is within the graphic, that does not count as selectable text. We use Adobe Dreamweaver to import the sliced images and add the text at the bottom (sample image click here).
This can be a logo design, image and/or text design to grab the attention of the end user. The header typically should be 600 x 500 pixels. The less information the better. Less is more in the design world. Give the end user just enough to get them interested. Your primary goal is to get them to the web site for more information.
